YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Manager Product Lifecycle, are to:

  • Efficiently manage the internal revision requirements for operational excellence;
  • Drive product change requirements with Product Supply, Demand Planning and Master data Teams;
  • Work closely with Master data team on product setup and data management processes;
  • Review and recommend adjustments for all existing policies and procedures, and continuously optimize most efficient processes to manage new, discontinued, slow moving and obsolete items;
  • Own the PIM and Syndigo syndication platform processes;
  • Assume the main point of contact for all Syndication related questions and issues;
  • Ensure all items flow into PIM (Product Information Management Tool) and are being acted on by each of the cross functional teams to efficiently and effectively syndicate to external customers in a timely manner;
  • Guide cross functional teams to ensure all product content is uploaded accurately and completely into PIM, eDAM, SAP, Synaps, etc.;
  • Track product completion cycle timing and recommend process improvements to improve timelines;
  • Work closely with Brand to optimize their portfolio range for better balance between consumer choice, shelf, and inventory efficiency through development of item GS$ and GM% hurdles;
  • Conduct in-depth analysis across all Categories and Brands to formulate product range recommendations;
  • Development of hurdles by channel and product type (Convenience, Mass, Dollar, Club, Grocery, Drug, and Ecomm);
  • Make analysis of every brand's full product line, taking into account consumer needs for top Customers;
  • Work to continuously improve the process for item management;
  • Identify items that will become obsolete due to new product launches and discontinuations;
  • Track and report Slow Moving and Obsolete items with early identification and escalation of high impact changes that could result in major risk;
  • Manage the timing and distribution on product sample requirements on new items or packaging changes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • At least seven years of CPG experience including 5 Product Lifecycle involvement;
  • CPG Environment knowledge and product portfolio management including external requirements for product change tracking;
  • Knowledge of automated product information syndication (PIM, GDSN, Syndigo, Salsify);
  • Knowledge of GDSN and data requirements for internal business operations;
  • Proven strong leadership, self-motivated, and able to set direction for a project or organization;
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and mathematical skills, ability to review data, draw conclusions and implement learnings;
  • Very strong oral, written communication and presentation skills and ability to drive change within an organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Base understanding of corporate finances.
