As a Critical Facilities Engineer - Electrical in Columbus, Ohio, at a high-profile Data Center, the role is responsible for the electrical/mechanical installation and maintenance work in a new data center build. This role support's Colliers mission for 100% facility uptime and requires mechanical and electrical skills, safe work practices, and routine conduct of hands-on operations and maintenance work on a variety of critical facility systems and equipment within the critical environment.

Your work requires strong formal conduct of electrical installation of branch circuits, technical expertise, personal accountability, and professional execution of work activities commensurate in a high-risk critical environment with expectations for exceptional customer satisfaction and confidence.

What you bring:

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • 3+ years' experience in performing electrical work in industrial, commercial, or critical facility operations.

  • Basic knowledge of critical data center systems, standby emergency power, uninterruptible power supplies, and associated infrastructure.

  • Trade school diploma or certification.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

  • Ability to work from heights.

  • Ability to follow safety guidelines.

Bonus skills and experience

  • Journeyman or State Electrical License.

  • OSHA 10 certification.

  • EPA 608 Universal Certification.

  • Experience in performing mechanical work in industrial, commercial, or critical facility operations.
