Job Description

As a Sr Manager of Product, Specialty Program Health with CoverMyMeds in our Product Organization, you'll make significant contributions to the success of maintaining the health of our product performance for our existing portfolio of clients. Your primary responsibility will be to use strong managerial skills and significant product knowledge to lead a team of Product Managers and Product Owners and work closely with other business partners to deliver on high integrity client commitments and OKR's. You'll get the chance to create and maintain strong working relationships with our many clients while advising on the product management of one of our top strategic products. You'll work closely with fellow leaders within the business unit to navigate the ambiguity and risk that comes with client delivery and you'll enjoy endless opportunities to take on responsibility, mentor and continue learning.

Our ideal candidate will reside in one of our hub cities of Columbus, OH or Scottsdale, AZ, but we will consider a well-qualified candidate in a fully-remote location. We are not able to provide sponsorship for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages activity and direction of staff within a product focus area.

  • Manages the daily activities of individual product managers, product owners, and BSA's.

  • Frequently interacts with direct reports, outside customers, and functional peer groups at management levels.

  • Fully accountable for all people-management activities for subordinate staff.

  • Constantly looking to identify impediments early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalates when needed.

  • Management and tracking of cross team/squad dependencies.

  • Management and tracking of all high-integrity client commitments.

  • Provides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments and progress.

  • Supports definition of focus area vision and strategy. Actively communicates vision.

  • Supports team of product managers, product owners, and BSA's in defining tactics for delivering on client commitments in a way that is scalable

  • Works on complex issues of diverse scope. Coordinates the activity of workgroup through utilizing operational policies to obtain solutions.

  • Develops strong relationships with prospects and vendors.

  • Collaborates with internal teams on competitive positioning and market development.

  • Serves as a liaison between the product team and the company's stakeholders.

  • Defines and reinforces consistent Product discipline and processes.

  • Acts as escalation point for the product team and assists in removing roadblocks.

  • Identifies, hires, and on-boards top talent to the Product team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience, and 9+ years of professional technology experience including 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience or related degree.

  • 3+ years of experience in client, or solution, technology delivery

  • A natural collaborator who seeks out new perspectives and builds trusting relationships with both technical and non-technical partners at all levels, and moves people to action

  • Proven experience identifying and prioritizing the most important things amongst a myriad of important things; including what will be delayed or discarded to focus on what's important now

  • Thrive in the inherent energy, ambiguity and risk that comes with creating new things

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at CoverMyMeds. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$108,800 - $181,300
