Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) is seeking a Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis to manage all financial aspects of government and commercial contracts including customer financial deliverables and internal reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, tracking and reconciliation of large and complex financial data leveraging enterprise resource planning (ERP), cost accounting, contract financial management software systems, advanced Excel and other software tools as required. Strong technical skills are highly desired including advanced Excel (VBA, pivot tables, power query, power pivot), database languages (SQL), Business Intelligence tools and reporting.
The Senior Manager Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for annual work planning and tracking/analysis of actual performance variance against plan. The Senior Manager conducts ad hoc analyses as required in contract negotiations and decision making to support dynamic requirements. The role also oversees the receipt, validation and reconciliation of all subcontract invoices and will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all contract financial data. The successful candidate will work in a team environment and supervise a team of analysts.
