Behavioral Support Specialist to provide behavior support services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the Nisonger Center; performs functional behavior assessments and analysis; trains family members and staff at community agencies in data collection and implementation of strategies; works with school, residential, day program staff and families to develop behavior support strategies; presents strategies for approval to appropriate review committees and revises as necessary; prepares billing statements; documents individual progress and prepares reports.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, Social work or related field. 0-3+ years of experience working with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required; 0-3+ years experience conducting functional behavior analysis and intervention desired. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
