Role Overview

Staff Product Engineer

Position Summary: Manages production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to high volume production. Interfaces with design, process, test and reliability engineering to solve problems. Sustains products with cost reduction and yield improvements.

As a Staff Product Engineer position that will be working as a core team member of the product/test engineering team to bring Skyworksintegrated solutions into high volume manufacturing. You will be working closely with engineers across multiple functional teams. You will also need to simultaneously handle multiple development projects. This position includes responsibility for both development and sustaining activities, and includes limited travel.

Responsibilities
  • Developing ATE test coverage and specifications.
  • Characterization, ATE and probe data analysis to generate the reports and ATE limits.
  • Creating and managing product documentation.
  • Providing product development and sustaining support which involves interfacing with Design, Test, Quality and other teams.
  • Driving cost reduction activities such as second sources qualification, yield enhancement, test time reduction, etc.
Requirements
  • Must have Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least8 years, or Masters EE Degree with6 years, or PhD and3 years experience
  • Highly prefer experiencein semiconductor or similarelectronics manufacturing environment.
  • Candidate should have strong exposure to PMU or mixed signal circuit PE experience.
  • Must possess strong data analysis skillsand the ability to debug production and development issues, such as on ATE or bench characterization equipment.
  • Team player, strong communication skills,ability to thrive in a fast-pacedenvironment.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$110,600 -$210,600per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock. These incentives and awards are based on individual and/or company performance.
